New Adult Sunday School Class
A new adult Sunday school class is forming in room 208 at 9:45 a.m. We are using a book by John Blackaby “Encounters with God”, The Gospel of John. This book is a good small group study that promotes group discussion through reading the scripture and answering questions about life situations that we can relate to. If you are looking to meet people in a small group setting and would like to grow in your faith journey, please come and spent some time with us.   .

Adult Mission Trip
This fall, Community will be sending a team of adult volunteers to the Gulf Coast for the Katrina recovery or we may form a team to help with the recovery from this past fall and winter tornados in Tennessee and other areas of the eastern United States. If you are interested in going please contact Paul Steele at
psteele4@cox.net or the church office.

Summer is not here yet and we are already planning and organizing an adult “hands on” mission trip. It takes several months to contact places where we can use our resources, places that are sanction by the United Methodist Volunteers in Mission (UMVIM), and to raise the financial support needed to sustain a mission trip.
